Type Locality and Naming

Lower contact

Conformable with Chandpur Fm

Upper contact

Unconformable with the Sundernagar Gr (locally) or Unconformable with Blaini Fm glacial till regionally.

Regional extent

In Sirmaur (HP) and Dehradun districts (Uttarakhand). Correlated with the Sanjauli Fm.
